NRA Basic Pistol

The NRA Basic Pistol shooting course introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. The student is introduced to pistol parts, operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals and pistol shooting activities. The Basic Pistol Course will help prepare the student for basic pistol operation as well as additional NRA courses and additional shooting activities.
Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, and an NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet. Students will be required to take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination.
Upon completion, students will receive a certified completion certificate.

This course consists of both classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles.
